Heavy. Aggro. Tribal. Groove. These 4 words embodied the music, the vibe and the personality of this 4 pc band from San Jose, California. A metalcore band at a time when rap rock was being force fed to the kids, they were not afraid to do their own thing and the reaction of music fans proved that they were hungry for something new to sink their teeth into.

Stitch had a short-lived but explosive existence in that they formed in 1998 and by the time they were done in 2002, had recorded 2 albums, an EP, toured the west coast, played SXSW, signed a record deal, were distributed internationally, fought with their label and management and ultimately exploded from the pressure and velocity. They never had time to fade away, not to mention burn out. They were compared to bands like Soulfly, Sepultura, Chimaira, and Deftones and received many great reviews of their music. Live, they were a force to be reckoned with, creating an atmosphere of chaos that wowed crowds wherever they played.

Stitch’s music has been preserved and is now available exclusively through i:and:i recordings. Get them now!
